This is Maurici. I'm a young automotive engineer and race cars enthusiast.
I've recently bought the firs MK R1 built in spain (as you know sold in spain like Garbí).
The car needs a lot of care, but the principal items ar in nice work order. Engine (5YV Yamaha 2004/2006) in perfect work order (fully reasembled few miles ago) Also chasis, steering and suspension are quite good. Only some minor issues with the reverse gearbox (from quaife).
The biguest problem for the car is about aesthetic reasons. Left handed rear arche is completely broken, and the interior trim is... well is better to rebuild the trim than refurbish the trim.
The car is road legal, and is amazing to drive.
After being invested a lot of time leaving it in perfect running conditions, I'd like to start with exterior and interior trim rebuilt/restoration. Any advice, parts for sale, or recomendations will be appreciated.
