Im thinking of going bike engined(R1 yamaha)And selling my zetec with throttle bodies,How much difference performance wise is there between an R1
engined kit and a zetec with throttle bodies. Ive never been in a bike engined kit.just seen videos on you tube
Cheers
Chris
The R1 will only have that little bit more acceleration.
Obviously this helps on track but out on the road there's hardly anything in it apart from top end where the zetec wins.
Where are you in the country chris?
Have a go in a bec, any bec and then decide.
it will obviously be much lighter, and therefore should (in theory) stop and corner a bit better!
most people who change seem to say they would have benefitted more from a day at somewhere like procomp setting up geo and supension settings!

Have a go in a bec, any bec round town on any normal day in traffic and then decide.

There's a CEC to BEC convertion parts list at the top of the BEC section.
