What is involved? Would rather not have to get (yet another) propshaft made.
Replace Freelander input flange with a Sierra compatible one?
Are drive shafts available to suit Sierra hubs, or hybrid's needed?

You'll need hybrid shafts but the good news is the Freelander and Sierra push-in inner joints have the same splines so can be swapped over.

BaileyMorris should be able to swap the coupling/saddle on the rear UJ to convert the Sierra fitting to Freelander.

Why swap.

Nothing wrong with the Sierra diff. Been using one in mine for 21 years and never had an issue. It will take large amounts of power and various LSD's are widely available. Got a 3.92 in at present but I have a spare case set up with a 3.62 and a brand new 3.92 CWP should I need them.

Seems like you are going to spend a large amount of money for no benefit whatsoever.

I have a prop' that's type 9 to freelander kicking about, you could cut the rear flange/UJ off and weld it onto your existing one. If you can collect from Spondon (nr Derby) you're welcome to have it. Also you can have a look at the installation of my freelander diff if you want.

Also you can still get hold of Westfield Megablade driveshafts that do freelander to Sierra mating, that's what I use.

My mac#1 worx use's the freelander diff talk the boys at mac as they custom make drive shafts no welding things together .
