Can anyone advise on this one please, I have a 1.6 cvh engine with a 1.8 cvh flywheel fitted mated to a type 9 gearbox, it has now broken two starters where they have run against the flywheel. I have been told a 1.8 cvh starter will do the job without hitting flywheel. Can anyone confirm this and if so has anyone got one to sell? Many thanks

This starter works OK with a 1.8 Zetec with it's own flywheel. It came from a 1.8CVH Sierra.

I have a Zetec with a 1.8 cvh flywheel and use the 1.8 cvh starter.
