Feedback system
Following my recent post with regards to problems with registered traders. Would it not be possible to list all registered sellers and then have
system simular to e-bay where we can leave neg/pos feedback. Barry

I suggested it about 18 months ago, and was told to hang fire 'cause the new web site was imminent at the time...

The problem is, I've no way of knowing whether or not someone has bought something, or whether the person just has a grudge.
I also can't rely on the traders to confirm, as they simply won't confirm the orders of those that are upset.
If someone can suggest a way around this I'm happy to look into it.

I think that the way that GTS is rebuked on here, and that people still order stuff from them, would suggest that a simple Poll system on each
manufacturer would suffice.
For eg:
I've bought from MK, I give them a plus/minus and a comment why in regard to product/service/timeframe etc
I've bought from MAC1, I give them a plus/minus and a comment why in regard to product/service/timeframe etc
And so on and so on.
And if people do have gripes then they should be freely allowed to air there views. I've never read anything on here (from a member) that has
bothered me so much that I would not want to make up my own mind whether I would want to do business with them.
There are two reasons (IMHO) that GTS gets bad press on here:
1. He has made these delays to some people, and he hasn't produced things for paying customers.
2. If you give GOOD service to someone they will tell a couple of people. However, if you give BAD service to someone they tell ten people (or
something like that!)
Now I think, judging from a couple of people's attempts at rectifying the situation for that business person and the people that make good
comments re GTS would suggest that a simple Pole situation with comments would work...
Obviously all just IMO, but I made a similar comment a couple of years ago (posting as worX) when a thread came up re positives about the core locost
manufacturers...
