Photo upload

Am I being thick or is the photo upload function not working?

It fails to upload if the files are too big or have 'funny' characters in the name.
Best to only use alphanumerics and _ in the filenames (along with the dot for the extension obviously).
It complains if it doesn't like/understand the extension, which is a bit of a pain as uploading pdfs and cad files would be useful occasionally.

Nope it's not that. I resized to 450 x 337 pixels, it's only 62kb and it is only called exhaust

Just checked it's worked fine for me, though strangely it's not been stuck on the end of the list but in the middle.

Is your picture called "exhaust", or "exhaust.jpg" I wonder if the unique name mangler is broken. Try putting a random number in the name.

I use photobucket a fair bit and it resizes the pics to suit the website.

It could well be broken. I'm working on a vastly improved photo module.
