Locost Car Club

Would it be possible to use this website to promote "The Locost Car Club"?

Most of the people at my local meeting don't know about it and aren't members. Could the club partially support/sponsor this site? Do we already?

I guess I am just looking for a little more visibilty for the club, more members and their lovely money

TimF - Good to see your post, or is it your avatar - yes, sorry it's your avatar but thanks for the support.

Jag,

but you haven't answered seabass's question of what are the benefits of joining the club?

Ned.

Ned - you're right.

At the moment there is just the quarterly newsletter but it only costs a tenner per year to join so that's Ok.

Other benefits will come with extra membership and hence funds

The Newsletters are now much more"build orientated", with all the local area meets listed, SVA advice and tips, along with biting social comment. Sometimes

Far from being in decline, since the begining of the year we've had over 100 new members. So bollocks.

We're also organising a track day organisation membership that will allow local areas to have cheap track days.

In addition most "Locost" insurance companies give a discount to club members as do some parts suppliers.

You're also entitled to come to the AGM at Newark and hassle the commitee.

Join because I said so.

Cheers

Chris

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!
