Attaching pics to our photo archive

I have just tried to add a couple of recent pics , but they are in the wrong format
I am a pc numpty, so am clueless ??

how do i change the format

what format are they now ?

(right click on the pic - go to properties)

.jpg files should be ok.

If it doesn't work, try opening the picture with paint then save it using 'save as' and select file type .jpg

Ive tried all the options in paint, and none will save to my archive, so ive given up

so you've got a *.jpg saved on your machine somewhere (i.e on your desktop)

and it won't upload to your archive when you use the 'upload new photo' box in your achive


have your tried re-naming the pic ?

I have had problems over the last year, because when I resize my jpegs, they have something like (large) in the title. The site won't upload them because the title contains brackets. - Try renaming them with letters only, and always end with .jpg

(The site used to accept them without any problem.)
