Yep, used it already - great idea. Not sure about the new format "[pg]" though.

Kindest Regards,

The new pg tag will make the code to implement thread searches for photos a whole lot simpler and less intensive on the server. In other words, there will be a list of threads where the photo is used next to each photo. I might get some time this evening when the sun's gone to have a go at that finishing that.

when someone comments on the photos, is there anything to notify me if someone was to comment on one mine?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Chris, will the search functionality also search the comments of photos? If not, is this worth considering? just thinking that not everyone puts titles on their photos but a comment on a photo may have a keyword that is useful to someone searching the forum... just a thought

We gain knowledge faster than we do wisdom!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... "f*ck, what a trip!"

Good idea, hadn't thought of that! I'll look into it.

Not at the moment, but I could do something like that I guess. Do you mean a u2u message?

yeah, kind of like a u2u, even just something up there that says 'you have 1 new photo comment' and when you click on it, it takes you to the comment?

but i guess if theres 2 comments it will be more difficult... maybe takes you to a list of photos and comments? don't know really, but some sort of notification anyway.
if i was new to this site next week or something, i'd probably expect to be able to put a comment and/or quesiton on a photo, and expect a reply from whoevers photo it is? as it is just now, my phtoos may well be full of comments, maybe 100's but i'd never know well, unless i went through every photo. but thats not going to happen
