Locost Builders Very Slow/Not Loading

Is anyone else having trouble with this website being very slow and sometimes not loading? It seems to have started a few days ago. Every other website seems fine while LCB consistently has problems.

LCB is fine for me, me and the misses laptops have this with Amazon and I can't for the life of me figured out the reason. Really don't want to do a laptop rebuild but think that may be the only solution.

Have you tried clearing cookies, cache etc?

What web browser are you using? If you're not already download google chrome. Much better than IE.
make sure you close it once in a while though because chrome eats memory even while its asleep.

I'm using Chrome.

It seems ok on my mobile (2 Degrees in New Zealand) but I think I was also having trouble with the work computers. I think I'll go back to blaming Vodafone. We've been having regular connection problems for the last month but normally everything goes down when it's playing up. LCB is consistently slow while other sites are ok.

LCB has consistently been one of the fastest websites I use, mainly because it's one of the tidiest. Kudos to the author for keeping things very simple.

Slightly off topic, but a question for the Chrome users. How do you find Youtube? Up to about a month ago Youtube was fine, but now I can't watch videos without them looking like I'm on a dial up modem! I've looked online and it does seem to be a Youtube update that Chrome doesn't like, but Google aren't admitting it (and therefore not fixing it).

My YouTube is fine with chrome.

Try installing safari on your machine and see if this makes any difference. Chrome is built on safari, so if you see the same issue then it sounds like a lack of resources on your machine or broadband issue.

Thanks!

Seriously though, I monitor load times closely and would notice if we had a problem with pages taking a long time to load. I'm glad others have already pointed it out so it doesn't look like I'm passing blame, but it's probably an issue with your PC or your internet connection.

Cheers, Chris

It's perfectly fine on IE and Firefox. I just copy and paste the URL's and watch it there instead!

Well this is odd. We were on the phone to Vodafone about something and mentioned how our connection drops out sometimes. They suggested changing the wifi channel. Since doing that, we've had no problems with the connection dropping and LCB has generally been fine.

Strange how it was just one website unless the whole connection went down.
