a video's section or archive?

What do people recon? I'd wager that numerous members have their own collections of their favourite (car related ) video's stored on their pc's.
This is something that could be added to the existing photo archives or as a seperate repository. I'd strongly suggest car only content be eligible.

The main downside I can think is the cost for chrisw hosting it all and the mega bandwidth that such video's etc would likely gobble up, especially if linked to elsewhere..

Ned.

I agree Ned, a Video Section would be a great way forward. However, the bandwidth and content could be a problem if not monitored closely.

The cost, well that is a seperate issue. Perhaps it could be subsidised by a Sponsor and/or the LB Members?

a restriction to logged in registered users might help a bit, ie linking elsewhere etc..

A few links of torrent streams is an excellent idea.

All Chris has to do is to host the links and we do the file hosting.

All in favour say "Aye"

The only problem I foresee is that my host (for one) will not allow mpg,avi etc etc files on my webspace. I'm not aware that many will host for obvious reasons regarding PRON etc
