i can't log in!??!

right this is annoying me!

i can't log on as me! if i click the top right hand side thingy where it says log in/register it gets me to enter username/password as usual but then just spits me straight back to the front page and i'm logged out still!

obviously this means i can't log in to check u2u messages etc etc!

anyone shed some light on this?!

How did you post the question?

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

I have recently been struggling with the same problem, despite lowering security on the p.c (XP) it was still happening, then all of a sudden after a windows update it stopped, sorry I can't be of any more help than that.

By the way, you can always post with your username and password which suggests its not a your account has been suspended job

if you're not logged in you can still view the forum, when you click to reply or start a new topic it will then at the top of the page ask for username and password, it accepts my password etc when i do it that way so in effect it'll allow me to log in to a thread but won't allow me to log into my account if that makes any sense?

seems to be sorted!

logged in and everything appears to be working, all i did was go to check for windows updates, it found nothing though so i don't really know what happened!

built a car, built a home, had a family. lost the family, lost the home, still got the car.

If that happens try clearing your history and cookies. Sometimes they get corrupted, other times windows just seems to think you have too many and IE stops working.

Alternatively use Firefox instead
