A step by step instruction would be gratefully appreciated (in simple terms pls)

It seems the avatar you wish to use still resides on your PC (file:///C:/My%20Documents/Westfield%20SEi/7.gif)
You must upload your pic to a website, you can even upload to this site, then create a link in the same way you have already pointing to your pic.
