Photo archive

After much psissing around I've now got an avatar
But during the process of uploading photo's to my archive I forgot about not using certain symbols i.e. # in the filenames
There is no photo available under these file names and it will not let me delete them from my archive.:

Can they be deleted any other way or have I just got to leave it at that.
