Forum really broken now (was Forums grind to halt)
I just checked back after posting about the forums running badly, and when I opened the thread I saw that for reason there where three posts by me at
the start of the thread, so deleted one of them and the whole bloody thread dissapeared.
Since posting that thread it's got even slower, I don't think the server likes us talking about it LOL

If the thread author deletes the first post in a thread it will delete the whole thing. That's how it's supposed to work!
Speed wise - I havn't noticed anything, but I've not been here much recently. Will investigate...

I get the hourglass when I click the back button. It does drag on a bit sometimes.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I specificaly deleted the third post first to stop that happening! The wierdest thing was when I started the thread there was only one post visible
to me...

Noticed that my posts will quite often appear multiple times within a thread, but if I refresh just the one will appear afterwards.

I get this a lot ?
Database connection error!!!
A connection to the Database could not be established.
Please check your username, password, database name and host.
Also make sure config.php is rightly configured!
When connecting, the database returned:

I get this on a regular basis as well.
Generally in the evenings as well. I guess when the "traffic" is heavy
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want!!!

I get the 1040 too. Oddly I am getting extremely fast results when I ping the server.

it seems to be most evenings that it slows up or crashes. It would be brill if we still had the old main page and could see how many people were
online! I bet the old record has been smashed!
