Members Cars section

Thought it might be a good idea to have a section where people who don't have the time to run a website could keep a diary of their car progress in an ordered fashion? I love reading forum based diarys where you can see other members advice put into practice all in one thread.

Heres a couple of examples from retro-rides:

And from Scoobynet:

What do you think Chris / others?

What a top idea!!!

I'll be starting my build soon and would like to record my progress but would rather be building than maintaining a website.

Even an area where you could lock the thread so that only you could update it would be good. Good will messages, questions and tips are great but would surely disrupt the flow of the diary. Such comments are what U2U could be used for?!

1st class idea!

i especially love build thread where the poster has waited a few months before posting, so the first post says 'i thought id build such and such' and low and behold the next paragraph shows it half built!

I'm trying to maintain a blog of my build.

http://bills-locost.blogspot.com/

Probably not the most riveting read ever, but at least it's a record of what I've done.

I use blogger.com which makes it very easy to add entries without the hassel of maintaining a web site.
