Picture Cache and message loading

I'm still trying to work this one out.

Why is the Luego ad constantly loading along with messages? Is it a quirk of the website?
I thought it should load once into cache and not continually update. It's a minor annoyance that slows the update of categories.

rob,

i think the luego image is on a javascript random loop so it loads a different image each time or randomly should i say, hit f5 (refresh) and watch the image change every few times....

Ned.

Thanks Ned.

Never noticed that the image changed, that explains it.
Shows some Javascripts are wasted if i didn't notice that one

I've used Javascripts on my sons site but removed quite a few that were annoyances.;

It's done serverside - no nasty Javascript here. Also, the script updates the 'last seen' time so the site knows when you were last here and can update the unread messages icons.
