it has to be hosted on the internet, before it'll show it. It's pointing at your harddrive atm, which wont work !

Stick it on the Locost Photo Archive

As Ben says but don't forget to use an external link... something like:

http://locostbuilders.co.uk/

then whatever directory and file it is...

then all should be fine...

Rash,

Put the picture you require into your photo archive first this is essential. Make it a maximum of 200 pixels wide so it fits into the locost margin under your name. This bit is pretty easy.

Once this is done, goto the photo in your photo archive and copy the URL on the top address bar. This is actually the external lik you require. Paste this in it's entirety into the avatar link within your locost control panel. Then all should be well and your picture should appear!

Regarding the animation I have on the website - and formerly on here, I made it myself. I got a picture from off the net, I altered it to what our car will look like, then animated it all. Took a while but worth it, due to the response I get!

If you see a pic u like, and would like it animating. We could talk...

Rash,

I put an animated picture in my archive for you to experiment with called gargoyle.

Copy the image to your PC. Upload it into your archive then follow the link to that!

Hope it explains...

you think it will be done in " no " time but then " no " turns into a " bloody " long time

Rash&Nige,

If you type the following URL into your avatar, it will work!

http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/upload/gargoyle.gif

Enjoy

To alter it simply alter the gargoyle.gif to the filename of your choice...
