FF3 is awesome... at last!
Just a little update regarding my abuse of FF3 for quuite some time now.
By mentioning in the first instance that I used AVG7, updated to 8 then (due to its total overload and hostage of my system) deleted it and installed
Avira... all which made no difference to the speed of my system and rendering the google search bar useless. Also rendering more than one search from
starting up my browser on google. If I closed browser then re-opened it would allow another search! WTF???
I was convinced it was a virus and NO software seemed to help.
I searched for the best rated antivirus system on the market and a number of AV Review site mentioned Kaspersky as the best, small, fast low CPU load
etc etc...
I downloaded the trial and guess what... two trojans (Monderc.gen - 2 variants) appeared - dispite the other 3 missing them!!!
So after the trial - I may even buy it, but then again now the worst of them seems to have gone <fingers crossed> I may just re-install
Avira.
Incidentally AVG8 does not properly un-install from registry and requires manual regedit to install other software - well, for me anyway!
