A common problem is having file names that aren't unique, e.g "DCF0001.jpg". If you change the name to something unique like
"FredAndAlbertGoDriving.jpg" then it will possibly (?) be accepted.

reasonable size, no spaces in the file name, only seems to accept .jpg extentions, its 'usually' alright with 2 pictures with the same
filename, and will 'often' automatically rename it by putting a number in front of it, and don't use any !"£$%^&*( or) in
the file name

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

and if you want to show them on a post then you should right click on the picture and select propertys, the web address can then be copyed
don't go mad with picture size as it can be a right pain to view later

Nick a photo from someones archive onto your desktop, then try to put it in your archive.
You can steal one of mine
Don't know if you have looked lately, but there appears to be 9 photos in your archive

it will give that meassage if either, the file's too big or not a .jpg file.
open in in mspaint, choose image, stretch/skew, and put it to about 25% x 25%, hit save, and then try.
