computer question
I just got a new printer,its got usb conector on the back,my compo has a serial port,how do i conect them up without buying a new compo,keep it simple
cos compo,s are like women to me ,a complete mystery

Alright, that's not as helpful as it could have been but you did want simple!
One option is that you have a parallel port on the computer. Alhought they are getting rarer you can still buy printers with parallel ports (some have
USB and parallel) so maybe you could change your printer?
The only other way (unless I'm very mistaken) is to buy/steal/aquire a USB card from somewhere. You plug this into your motherboard and you'll then
get 4(approx) USB ports to use.

Problem solved,there is a port there it was hidden by some other plug type thingy,plug it in and bingo,thanks for you help anyway

trouble was the holes were so close together,didnt want to plug into the wrong one now
