I can't logon to locostbuilders at home - help

my work machine works fine (XP with IE8 or chrome) and my ancient S60 phone seems to work fine too

but my home machine won't logon and its never had an issue before...
its running win7 x64 with IE11

it doesn't give any errors when I put in my password, it just returns me to the front page without logging me on (cookies are allowed for this site

any ideas ?

Have you tried deleting all your cookies, browsing history etc? Once that is done it might then let you log in?

Just sidestep the problem and install Firefox or Chrome

done that and tried with and without compatibility view - no change

but it does work on the GF's laptop running the same version of IE on win7.....

I don't really like firefox or chrome, the only reason I use chrome at work is IE8 doesn't work on a lot of sites these days

ok still having this issue and it seems to be on a few different sites

I've wiped every cookie I could find, reinstalled IE twice and changed all the security settings - this is really irritating

That sounds like a cookie issue to me. Are you sure you don't have anything (security setting, third party software, etc) preventing cookies being saved?
