Sounds like a deal too much fragmentation for my liking. It's not like there's uncontrollably large numbers of posts there anyway.

fair enough, just thought it'd make it easier for a.) searches b.)if you're in a hurry and just want to glance at anything that might be relevant to your build/engine/probs.

With regard to search, what would help is if people put relevant subjects, so many times I've done a search only to find a load of posts with subjects such as "how do I" or something similar. Ah, well, maybe I'm just over stressed. Holiday next week though, and then new job, more money, all good, woohoo, driving to work in a 30 odd BHP car rather than a 100 BHP warm hatch, ah, not so good, oh well, can't have every thing I suppose. I can't imagine it'll stay 30bhp for long, hehehe

what car has 30bhp? I didn't know there were any around with such small power outputs? will it be enough to get up any hills you might encounter? my old 1300 toledo had 58bhp and a 1ltr saxo these days has 50bhp. 1 seat maybe fory something, can't remember!

Oh, OK, just checked, I lied, it's 38Bhp, and it's a 1000cc mini. Haven't got it yet, but should be grabbing one next week. Why am I going to be driving one? Welllllll, long story, but basically I object to paying approaching £2000 for one year of insurance for my polo, so I'm going to buy a cheap and nasty mini, maybe tidy it up a bit, it might turn out to have the wrong engine in it, who knows? Group 2 insurance rather than group 10 here we come and a rather more sensible £550 from the first place I bothered to ask. Drive it around until I've got my locost on the road and then drive that , and then with one years NCB and another birthday gone by, my polo becomes a halfway sensible proposition in time for the winter. Might even turn a small profit with the mini, who knows?

So, if anyone's got a cheap mini 1000 going, give me a shout (and I do mean cheap, if I had a spare grand I'd buy a polo 1.0L).

Back to the topic - I agree with Kingr about splitting it up too much. If traffic ever gets too high in there I'll consider it again but for the moment I think it ok.

Any other opinions??

Chris

The other problem is that people don't always use the right category already. Eg general (eg engine) stuff gets posted in the manufacture specific sections.

Give em more choice is a bad thing for some of the numbskulls within this forum (yes i am having a bad day!)
