In terms of the sheer irony
Queen - Who wants to live forever
Sum 41 - Heart Attack

In terms of songs I currently find suitably melancholic for all you guys mourning me....

Only one, Lisa Gerrard's "sacrifice"

Excuse the footage, the best audio I could find is her singing live on a Belgian Sunday evening political chatshow....

And something in an ear worm, just to leave people slightly pissed off at me.

when SWMBO finally gets driven to insanity by my incessant snoring, untidyness and bad feet. she has agreed that after she has stabbed my through the heart with a screwdriver she would play this at my funeral

I suggested 'Stairway to Heaven' but SWMBO thinks that 'Highway to Hell' is more appropriate

I have asked for three at my cremation.

The first has to be by the best guitarist that ever lived Santana - Samba Pa Ti

The second is one that I came across lately. Although I am not religious this hymn sent shivers down my spine the first time I heard it. Be Thou My Vision - Old Celtic Hymn

& The third is one that may appear strange but it has family ties as it was a cousin of my mum's that wrote the words Mark Knopfler - Raglan Road

Sorry lads I'm greedy and I would want 3 (YES THREE) songs people would enter to :-

This is the end. by The Doors (Subtle joke/inuendo there, sorry) Full long version the end plus the last bit (which you will find in the link to the right of the clip) which would give about 15minutes for people to come in and contemplate.

Mid ceremony would be :-

Time to Say Goodbye. by Sarah Brightman/Andrea Bocelli. Linky

Then people would have to leave to the airs of :-

Always Look On The Bright Side of Life. from The Life Of Brian sound track. linky link

Edit bit, At which point anyone that turned up would probably be saying 'thank god thats over with'

Most definatly would be one of mine, can't stop playing it, it's great
>Best tune ever<

+something soppy like :
Kirsty MacColl - Days

Also tempted by one to annoy people depending how I leave this planet, probably:

Diamanda Galas - Saint of the Pit

Ooo, difficult choice.....

Holy Man by One Minute Silence, or maybe 1845....

Then...

Harvester of Sorrow... For Whom the Bells Toll...

Too many to choose from.....

Lose Yourself - Eminem
