shady connection
i have been having some trouble recently accessing this site, works ok for ten mins then says cant find the site, i click home and the front page
comes up ok, but i cant access the data base to view threads. plus no green bar at the bottom. so i leave for ten mins and all is ok. other websites
work ok whilst this happens so i dont think its anything at my end.
other times it just says searching for site 213.blah.blah etc, but never finds it, when it does this though other sites dont work too.
any ideas what might be happening chris? ntl are shite so it may be them...
not the end of the world but probably worth mentioning incase there is an easy solution, like telling me to wee off!

I did restart the web server yesterday during the day and then rebooted the whole server just before I left the office. Perhaps you were unlucky?
The rest of the time the connection should be spot on. We pay a lot of money for Easynet's guarantee that the network will be up 24/7!

cheers chris. Its happened twice this morning so i suspect its me, as no one else has it. Happens around 10 mins after turning it on, and comes back
in around 5 mins. Fortunately i have too much free time anyway!

yeah, its still happening but thats life. i only mentioned it in case it was easily solvable or a common problem.
