don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Seriously tho... has anyone noticed anything odd with the site? I'm tweaking, and it's all going too well, which makes me suspicious!!

Seems good, haven't noticed any speed issue or dodgy pages being parsed.

What bit you playing with and we can keep a special eye on it?

Cheers

I'm messing around with URLs - ie the address that appears in your browser for each page you look at.

Randomly comes up 'file not found' when clicking through forums now. But if you go back and click again its ok....?

Was completely broken with "file not found" errors on every forum first thing this morning, but seems to be working 100% now.

(bar the problem I've had for a while with attached images in chrome - they display and then disappear [fine if opened in their own tab]) but I think that's just me on the bleeding edge development version on linux) Should raise a defect on chrome really.

Just realised it was my link direct to the forum section that was causing my breakages this morning.

I'm still getting the "file not found" error on my work machine, but it's ok on my phone's browser - which is where I'm typing this.

Chris, FYI, my work machine is running Windows 7, and all internet access is via Denmark (head office).

Are you using a link directly to the forum on the work machine. That was my problem. If you go in via the link on the front page then hopefully it should be fine. (then re link the bookmark/favourite obviously)

Hmm - that seems to work - but it's a pain going that way on my phone browser as the link is so small, and hard to click on.

N.B. Shortly after saying that it worked on my phone, it gave me the 'file not found' message. Doesn't happen so often though.

The file not found thing is easy enough to fix.

Your bookmark is to http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/forum.php

Edit it so it goes to http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/forum

and it'll be fine.

Still broken on both refresh and catchup

Both take you back to forum.php and then no links work
