Avon zetec exhaust manifold

Hi guys, i am having trouble with my exhaust manifold. First tiger manifold would not fit my zetec so i sent it back to be re-welded. Got the exhaust manifold back but still not a good fit and the welds are not perfect....Has anyone else had this problem? Does the westfield manifold fit? Any suggestions on where i can buy a better manifold?

Thanks

Where are you fella? Some one maybe local to help weld it up for you in place.

In what way does it not fit? Would a little heat and a tweak fix it or does it need to be cut and shut? Like Scutter said, where are you? I'd be happy to help if you are near me and my oxy/propane and Tig are portable with my trailer!

I'm on Dartmoor!

Exhaust problems

Exhaust 2
Exhaust 2

Exhaust 1

Hope this shows the alignment problems...
Just will not fit to the head!! Either i can fit the pipes into the collector and have the shown results, or fit to the head and not be able to fit the collector....

From what I remember.

You loosley bolt the primarys to the head then try and work the collector on.

Then tighten up

The collector is a seperate item ?

I also seam to remember that I couldnt get it to fit my putting it to gether then offering it up to the head.

Long since sold it and bought one from Fisher sports cars.

Hi, yes i have tried loosely fitting and aligning the collector but can only get three of the pipes to kind of fit. The big problem is that i am having a cat welded onto the collector and dont really fancy belting that with a hammer to get it all to fit. With three pipes loosely on i can just get the forth to go on about 5mm but when i try to tighten the bolts into the alloy head of the zetec everything goes FT long before there could be a seal between the manifold and the head. Other point is that with the alloy head do you really want to force the exhaust on???? Anyone have any ideas on where i can get another to fit?? Have thought about the wetsfield manifold but not sure if this will fit the chassis????
