BMW 2.5tds timing pins

Anyone got a set of locking pins for bmw 2.5tds M51 engine as fitted to Rangerover and Vauxhall Omega's? beer tokens waiting.
I only need to borrow them for a day or two.

Does the cut-old-cambelt-in-half-and-slip-a-new-one-on trick not work with these engines?
