Tap Set

Im looking for a tap set up to M8 or M10 with the 3 types of each.

I have decent taps in the sizes I use most so just wanted a cheap set for the other sizes.

All the ones on ebay I have seen either tap and die sets or sets with just one type of tap.

I have seen sets in the past that come in a drill bit type box sometimes with the correct drill bit too.

Any ideas who sells these or where to look?

Thanks

I find it better to just buy the taps you want, when you need them.

Most of a set will be redundant.

For maintenance rather than scratch building parts Hex (not split) dies are the bees knees for repairing threads --- you can turn them with a spanner or socket.

Loads of set -- Maplin sell them also loads on Ebay.

I know, Im not short of places to buy quality tools round here! I have a load of decent taps in the sizes I use often, but there is the odd occasion where I need a metric tap for cleaning out a thread or putting a thread in some ali so they dont need to be great quality, just a full set so I have them.

RDG tools looks pretty good, thanks for the link.
