engine change
Im thinking of going bike engined(R1 yamaha)And selling my zetec with throttle bodies,How much difference performance wise is there between an R1
engined kit and a zetec with throttle bodies. Ive never been in a bike engined kit.just seen videos on you tube

The R1 will only have that little bit more acceleration.
Obviously this helps on track but out on the road there's hardly anything in it apart from top end where the zetec wins.

it will obviously be much lighter, and therefore should (in theory) stop and corner a bit better!
most people who change seem to say they would have benefitted more from a day at somewhere like procomp setting up geo and supension settings!

I'd be happy to demonstrate that my BEC is no less suitable for going the Tesco than most other kits but I suspect he's not after a
shopping car.
I've no intention of getting my BEC anywhere near it's top end on the road... but I'll happily back off when Coozer gets to his.
