Alan Partridge has a Castrol GTX bomber jacket and he drives Rovers...

Are you trying to tell us that Britishtrident is Alan Partridge in real life?

Many years ago I used to race Imps and Davrians we used GTX then a 20w/50 in the sump and had low oil pressure problems when hot , switched to
Duckhams 15w/40 and the oil pressure when hot actually increased by about 10psi.
That grade GTX is an enhanced mineral oil these day anybody putting anything other than a full synthetic or semi-synthetic in anything but an old
banger is taking unnecessary chances.
