Search
Has the search thing changed with the upgrades as I seem to be having trouble finding owt. I typed in carbon fibre in an effort to find the lad on
here who makes and puts carbon on everythingand and seemed to get totally unrelated topics that didn't contain either word?

i found that the other day, tried a search by a user and it came up with some threads that that user hadnt posted in... very strange

did you see the new check box to select what sort of search you want? Have a closer look, its obvious once you see it!

Yep. Still not great. I just put in carbon fibre and tickd match exactly and came up with a thread about XBox 360 Kinect that contained the word
"fibre". That's it, not carbon fibre.

I do think the Search function on this site is one of it's biggest let-downs... It's a shame.
Anyway, who want's to see a photo of an ALL carbon fibre car or an ALL carbon fibre bike

Love the car Steve. Was actually after finding the pictures of the person that made their own carbon tunnel and sill protectors.

His friend made them (I think)
Although I also make tunnels and sill protectors (both rounded and square topped) amongst (a lot!) of other things in prepreg carbon fibre and prepreg
carbon kevlar...

Ha! The Hignett search engine works great 
I didn't know you made stuff, I knew you played with other peoples cars. Well me and the missus are looking at a few upgrades so I may contact
you in the future if that's okay.

There is an issue with the search where it doesn't carry the search mode option across when you change pages. So you'll find the first
page will have the correct matches on it but any subsequent pages will default to 'match any'.
I'm aware of it, and need to fix it. After the week spent on coding for the site after New Year m car has been getting my attention this last
week or two!!

I've a funny memory - My wife told me at least half a dozen important things since I came in this eve. and I don't remember a single one
of them - I even listened this time too! But ask me some obscure question or anything with numbers/dimensions on it or even the next line in any film
of the last 20 years and I'll tell you in a heartbeat!
