Nose cone hinge

Anyone got any pics of how to hinge the nose cone on an Indy r

I just used gate hinges, screwed to the front of the chassis, then bolted these to the bottom of the nose cone using penny washers as extra support. I also made a strap to stop it folding forward and hitting the ground, using electrical cable and connectors. I'll try to take some pictures later and post them on the site

Did the same sort of thing on mine and a mates, but i have used piano hinges. mine sits on top of the bottom chassis rail on 4 screws i tacked to the rail and the other one i had to weld a strip under the same rail.
Used a electrical cable as well and used the holes for the indicators to secure the nose cone end.
Makes access to the radiator very easy.
