where can I get some small springs from?

I need a spring for the return on the throttle, halfords and b&q don't sell springs, where can I get one from. Not online as I need it on tuesday.

Halfords do sell them but only in a massive box full....about £9 for 200!!

That would be fine, but the idiot halfords kid told me they didn't sell them when i went in there yesterday!!

just checked online and according to website they have them in stock too, how irritating!!

Thanks for the screw fix link too, i didn't realise there was one so close to me, and that they were open on sunday

those screwfixc box springs, and probably the halfords ones are quite weak - I don't think they'll be strong enough for throttle pedal unless you faff around doubling or tripling them.

RS looks like the best bet - search for "extension spring" (if you find something suitable., then U2U me - I have them local to me and have account - but you would need to wait a few days due to most likely not being in stock and then posting to you + plus they sell them in packs of 5 so be sure you knwo correct one). use freebie red PO elastic bands in the interim?

bought the screw fix ones, great little box. Found one that was just perfect. the mech just needed an extra little bit of tug for the final couple of mm to return to idle
