uploading pictures
its a nightmare uploading pictures as all mine are too large so take an age, the likes of facebooks automatically resize them so a lot quicker. Any
one have a good frr programm that will resize in batches and keep some of the quality
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

not really batches, but open in mspaint, image, stretch/skew, change sizes to 20% and 20%, ok, save. takes like 10secs. but you still have to do them
all individualy.
it always surprises me when people ask for free software to resize photos, and all sorts are suggested. everyone already has MS paint, but i know you
want one that does it automatically, so maybe there is, but its quite quick really

not really quick when you have a full day of pics from a circuit, just trying to save some life time lol, thanks looks like Photoshop again

is there not some way of doing macros on photoshop? ie you give it a set of instructions to apply to a photo and it just does it? i'm sure ive
seen it somewhere, even on my copy which must be near 10 years old now

paint shop pro has always had a batch option.
You can do lots of things to a batch of files including resizing.
Alternatively, if you just use photobucket to upload you files, it will give you the option of resizing as you upload, oh and it's free too.

i use power toys image resizer for windows, just a couple of clicks and can do multiple piccys.

PixResizer does singles or batches and it's a piece of pee to use. And free...

Ditto, though I think it only works for XP, not Windows 7.
I use FastStone browser for photo related stuff. Includes the ability to resize multiple pics at once.

ETA I just found this clone of the XP picture resizer whch works in the same way, i.e. select one or more files in Explorer, right click and select
Resize Pictures. Downloaded it to my new home PC and it works a treat
