Can't edit post? Now solved
I'm trying to edit this post, but unless I'm being stupid (most
likely answer) I seem to be struggling, I can't see the 'edit' function anywhere.
Any ideas?
James
(Seems I can edit this post, to say that this is in the wrong section, but definitely the option in the 'wanted' topic to edit isn't
there)

yep, after 24hours i think, the edit button goes away. allows editing of spelling mistakes etc, but stops bits being deleted or edits so that posts
don't make sense.
there was a guy on here threw his toys out the pram, and deleted every post he ever made. ended up that a lot of the threads made no sense to anyone
using the search for info on stuff

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Ah right ok, thanks for the info I think I've managed to work around it though, I'll see if it works in a minute.
Edit: Yup, I think I've managed to edit it! The word edit has started to lose its meaning now

Best you edit and delete this thread then and no one will be the wiser
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.
