Exhaust fabrication

I've been building my buggy for a few years now and sometimes I think I've bitten off more than I can chew. I had one of those moments when I bought all the J bends for the exhaust last October from OJZ Engineering. If you have seen Lance's work you can't help but be impressed. I couldn't afford to pay Lance to make an exhaust so I had to give it a shot. Well this weekend I decided to take my design from the computer and get stuck into the fabrication.

I designed the exhaust based on the standard Aprilia exhaust tube lengths so it should run well. After lots of cursing and burnt fingers I finally finished it. I'm so happy with how it turned out and can't wait to fire it up!

If youve bitten off more than you can chew, then all i will say is your coping well !

If my exhaust looks half as good as that one, I will be happy.

Good job

So you should be. Not only do the welds look professionally done, but the system looks very good as a whole.

Kindest Regards,

Thanks for all your positive comments. Its been designed to use the standard Aprilia RSV exhaust and the factory optional Shotgun exhaust. I've still to add a CAT to the standard exhaust link pipe for IVA but this isn't a big job.

I can't wait to get it fired up now but sadly this will have to wait a month as I'm away until mid May
