Any estate agents in the house?
What laser (or any other type of) measuring device do you use for measuring houses please?
Cheers

Not an agent, but doing measured surveys for architectural jobs, ive used Leica Distos, which are very good but a little expensive. Also used Bosch
one which was just as good and cheaper think ive seen them for about £60. Avoid at all costs the laser 'guided' ultrasonic measurers, less
accurate than using a tape measure!

I'm not an estate agent but I measure/survey a lot of buildings and tbh anything other than one of the varieties of Leica DISTO is a waste of
time

The estate agent who measured our house just used an ultra-sonic measure. They do put a disclaimer over accuracy at the bottom of the particulars
telling you to measure yourself if you care enough.

Sonic measures are NASTY! Very inaccurate, and no matter what your disclaimers if your measurements are inaccurate you run the risk of a lot of
trouble.
We use Leica Disto in all our branches and wouldnt use anything else.

Would anyone come on here and admit to being an estate agent?
Might see if I can get my boss to buy me a Leica
