(clawing at my eyes)

Advanced Autocooling, if you feel the need to post commercial adverts on this forum please at least learn how not to use caps lock and tons of **** everywhere to grab attention. It's visual pollution and just annoys people, like coming and shouting at us when we're sitting around having a chat.

Yup, I have. I just bought a Rad for my Saab at a lot less than I could find anywhere else on the net. Whilst there I enquired about prices for Polo and Micra rads which both turned out a lot less than anywhere else I tried.
Simon was also helpful in looking at rad dimensions to see what else would fit in a typical 7 nose cone. I think he found a saxo rad would work. Simon seemed genuinely helpful so I suggested he put a post on this site to inform everyone of the service he could provide.
If I had known the type of response he would have have gotten from the likes of Mr Blueshift, on what is normally a friendly forum I wouldn't have bothered.
Remember, not everyone new to these forums knows "the etiquette" used. maybe Blueshift you need to get your head out of your arse and be a little less uptight.

Paul

Given the sequence of posts I'd have to side with Blueshift.

I'm on a lot of forums that get "spammed" by unknown outsiders wanting to hawk their wares on a fairly frequent basis.

In future it would probably be best for you to either introduce "these great blokes" yourself or have them start with something along the lines of "one of your board members suggested I post...".

Prevent the ill will.

At any rate, now that he's been properly introduced by a respected board member -- go to it .

Cheers,Ted

I do bear in mind that these people just don't know the appropriate way to behave online. that's why I said please, and didn't lay into him calling him a f*cking newbie retard or anything.

so I may have used a slightly patronising tone, it comes from the emotional scarring of having close-nit friendly usenet groups I was a part of polluted and destroyed by idiots and spammers. I stand by my previous posting, though if I'd known he was here at your request I would have taken the edge off it.
