The Mobius is very good - I use one on radio-controlled multicopters, but many people use them on cars. Here's a UK supplier who sells one with
a 'car kit'.

You can get them without the car kit for less money - but then you'd still have to fix it to your car! They can do 1080p and 720p, and
reasonable-quality stills (single or at set intervals)
There's an app available to configure them via an Android phone or tablet, or you can do it from a PC.
