Hi mate, i wrote long post to introduce myself on announcements thread and posted, but it didnt post, is it really gone?

The announcement section can only be posted in by staff members. its for site based announcements.
I would assume it wasnt saved and is now lost.
If it was a new to site hello just stick it in general chat.
