Red files
Chris,
I would appear to be getting a few red envelopes on posts that have not been added to for a number of days.
Cheers Colin.

Have a read at the bottom of a topic list - the red envelope can mean either the topic holds new posts or a topic has more than 10 replies.

it doesnt even show me if there are any new posts in the thread. i have to look at the last post in thread at the side to see if there are any.
also cant the 'more then 10 posts' be a different colour?
im not so sure about the new system, maybe it just needs to grow on me....... or maybe my computer doesnt like it and it works perfectly for everyone
else.
i admire the effort you (chris) put into it tho.

Not sure why " more than 10 posts" is important, does it need a colour?

It doesn't appear to be showing new posts in threads with a red envelope on my computer either.

How about a "Unread In Last Day" or "Unread in Last Week" button?
Have a look at this sample, in particular the tree view top left and the first few options

Yeah, I don't seem to get the "red envelopes" from the main page, I have to access every category to see if there are any new posts ;(

No problem, but as far as I am aware, he's not actually attacking a person, its a piece of office equipment
