Would you not be best to replace the entire chassis rather than trying to graft front and rear halves together?

Ideally I would replace the whole lot but I've seen loads of avons and westfields repaired. As long as you have the jigs it's fine. You
can attach to existing joints so no different than the original build.

Hi,
Spoke to Jim at Tiger. He's making me up a new front section. Its a pretty common solution I believe with racing sevens.

Fair enough if you have the jigs to align the front and rear sections.
I suppose my thinking was more around the amount of strip down and rebuild time involved and prepare and then re-finish the welded sections.

When I crashed mine I did have to take anything off back of the scuttle so saved a lot of time. Got the new front powder coated then just had a few
bits to patch up. But I agree it maybe best to get a new chassis if it's a DIY job rather than back to the factory. I was lucky as I had another
chassis full to make up jigs.
Thanks

I have an unused powder coated chassis taking up valuable space if you need it.
Cheers,

Hi Ian,thanks for offer and will keep in mind if I have any other 'incidents' ! but the front section will be the most suitable solution
for me at this stage.
