I must be thick !

I just can not work out how to put a pic in my avatar....

I have a small pic loaded in to my archive and have tried on many ocasions to cut and paste the URL from the pic's properties in the control panel have put the [img].....[/img] before and after ect were am I going wrong.....
the URL I want is
http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/upload/82.JPG
What do I put in to load it???????

can some one please help.....................

You could of at least cleaned it up before taking a pic of it
