Time we had an an FAQ ?

Some questions come up time and time again for example

Sounds about right!

Chris could assign a person to each section and let them gather links to relevent threads. Then put all the links in a thread and make it a sticky!

I think this is a very good idea. Doing a search everytime can get a bit of a pain.

I agree its a good idea in priciple but, from what i`ve seen there are very few wrong answers but many subjective opinions.
No two Locosts are the same so it may be difficult to capture within an FAQ, enough relevant and accurate information without discounting other equally valid information for a different situation?

I agree the search can be hard work though so any improvements here would be well recieved.

Colin

I know I've mentioned this before... but how about a Wiki? For those that have never seen one, it's a repository of knowledge entered by the users, with a few 'editors' who make sure it's not being mis-used.
The down-side is that ChrisW would probably be too busy to maintain it - but maybe there's an internet guru who wouldn't mind setting it up? Eh?
