Uniform avatar size.
It can be a right royal PITA when happily browsing through the forum and then a massive avatar spoils the fun.
What about limiting the size of avatars, especially the width, like other sites do.
It would make for a much tidier forum if they were all uniform.
Cheers, Rorty.

On XMB version 1.9.1 you can limit the size so it should be easy.

Gets my vote as well...
...especially for the huge pics of rude women that could get me into trouble at work! (couldn't care less at home).
If I'm quick I can hide them with the Firefox adBlock extension, but they are often a bit too conspicuous for comfort.
And, of course, about once a month there's always someone who posts a 1024x768 jpeg as an avatar!

Whos that then?
Yes limiting avatar size would be good. Mine is 200px wide, which seems reasonable to me, but I am in a stupid resolution and forget what its like to
be in 1024 or even 800 wide!... But easily shrunk if need be.

I would be prepared to retire Gladys if need be to tidy up the avatars (I could always include her in my signature I suppose).
Most sites seem to limit avatar size to 150 x 150 and some even make the limit 120 x 120. I can find plenty of interesting and individual pics of
those sizes to use. The main criteria is the width though.
Cheers, Rorty.

I'm for it, normally its not a problem but at work (or more accuratly in work time on a mobile 3G connection) I have too wait ages for the pages
to load and avatars must add to this and thats without any huge pictures in the post.
Perhaps the size of pictures within the post could be restricted too, if a huge hi-res pic is called for then a link to it you can choose to clicky
would be better.
Cheers
