Nasty surprises from this site.

The last few times I've logged in here I have received Napster pop-ups and whole pages spamming me about checking my security settings. Each time I use a combination of AdAware, SpyBot Search and Destroy, AVG Pro and WinOptimixer Platinum to get rid of the rubish. I'm also behind a server firewall.
Why is this happening and how can it be stopped?

Cheers, Rorty.

Use OPERA instead of INTERNET EXPLOITER.

Not used INTERNET EXPLOITER, or OUTLOOK for the matter for years now and never had any pop ups or problems.

Or use firefox.

Try running hijackthis (I belive that Hellfire has it for download on his site). Just be careful about what you delete from the registry. If you arent sure post a copy of its report and then I will try and spot anything untoward.

Cheers,
David
