I can't praise screwfix direct enough! I have gone there for nearly all the things I have used to renovate the house I bought, even if there is
a problem they sort it out no questions asked,
VERY GOOD

Completly agree!
I've spent the last two days rewiring my brothers house and sourced all the parts required from screwfix. By far the cheapest and great service,
as you say.
MetalClad twin socket £4!! B and Q £20!!
A complete consumer unit with 10 MCBs an RCD and main isolator and wired for split load all for £59!
Can't go wrong, although fluorescent lamps weren't the cheapest... B and Q on this occasion won at £9..

I got an angle grinder from them which was the subject of a recall notice. I got the replacement before I got the recall notice, how fast's
that. I had to phone them to ask why they'd sent me another grinder. Most places just print a recall notice in the back of a newspaper where
only one in a hundred people will see it.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

ummm, nearly right, screwfix and B&Q are owned by kingfisher, so still independant companies.
