woodwork router choice?

Can anyone recomend a good woodworking router?

What features are most important - e.g. collect size, power etc?

Budget of about £80

Cheers
Nick

I bought a Wickes cheapo one a few years back It was a 900watt plunge router with a selection of bits. I built a staircase with it and it did a good job. It does depend what you need it for though, you should get one within your budget.

If you are not sure what you want, you could buy the cheapest, use it for a while, then you will know what you need (or perhaps the cheap one is good enough).
I bought a B&Q cheapo (<£20) and so far it has been adequate for my limited needs

Cheers Guys,

Just bought a Black and Decker router of Ebay for £40 with a set of 10 bits. Spec seems reasonable and price was good.

Only needed for light jobs (dashboard etc) so should be OK.
