Why cant I get this off the internet?!

Hi all,

Ive just bought a Microdynamics EMS 6 (http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?cls=MSPORT&pcode=LUMEMS6) boost retarder unit from ebay but it didnt come with wiring diagram.

Can anyone find a site ANYWHERE on the net with wiring diagrams for this unit or even better actually have one and can advise how to wire it up!?

I think it needs a pressure switch and obviously some connections to the pulse generator side of the engine but other than that - can anyone help?

I phoned demon tweeks but they didnt want to play the game and were mega unhelpful!

Geoff

http://www.lumenition.com/ (the Microdynamics brand is theirs)

They have a UK phone number on their site and more usefully:

Technical Support: support@autocar-electrical.com

be careful what you say to them, a mate brought a boost controller for his skyline that came with no destructions. He tried blitz who told him to politly f**k off as he hadn't purchased from them. Fair enough. Took about 3 months of search and asking questions on the forums before we came up with the right set, bloody easy to plug in too. Typical

Agreed, but this is the manufacturer, or at least the sole uk distributor. They already got paid by someone (hopefully ) Normally more helpful than the shops - they have some installation instructions on the website, just didn't obviously have the boost controller.

Bugger

Well I suppose you didn't waste weeks trying to get it to work, and then fry it.

Might be worth having another bash with the support blokey to see if anything can be done to make it work.
